Among the missions of the Apostolic vicariate of Gambella, Shebo is the most active. In 2012 it achived the food indipendence.
On the 2013, Amare npo has financed the construction of a stable for dairy cows in the village of Shebo and enrollment of 30 women in a training program for small animal livestock breeding.
Kaffa is a region in southwest of Ethiopia, bordered on the west by South Sudan. Coffee is the principal and traditional production of this region, its cultivation facilitated by the climate and the nature of its soil. The region is currently hosting an important number of refugees from South Sudan.
